If You Require a Visa to Enter the
UK
If you need a visa to travel to the UK we have set out
a quick guide of what you will need to apply for your
visa.

Apply for an entry clearance at your local British
Mission or Embassy. |

You need to ask for form IM2A, which is free of
charge. |
| |
You need to complete the application form and
take or post it to the British Mission. |
| |
With your application form you need your passport,
the application fee in local currency (this is non-refundable).
Two recent passport photographs and the relevant
documents. |

The documents required are: |

Evidence of adequate funding, Proof of your ability
to pay for your accommodation, course fees. |

Recent Bank Statements. |
| |
Educational certificates. |

A letter of acceptance from your chosen English
Language School with an unconditional place on the
course of your choice. |
If you are being sponsored by someone, then you need a
letter confirming your sponsorship
You may be asked to attend an interview as part of your
visa application process. This is part of the application
process so please do not worry.
