Who is this course for?
Non-native teachers of English from intermediate to very advanced level
Native speaking teachers of English
Teachers of English at primary, secondary and tertiary level

The Creative Writing course is for teachers who:
feel odd teaching a skill that they seldom practise themselves
who want to find exciting ways of sharing the fun of writing with a wide range of students, from primary through adult levels. People who want to explore this area of ELT methodology..
who want to experience themselves, or re-experience themselves as writers
who want to take leaps and bounds forward in their use of written English, and this goes for both natives and L2 speakers.
the course is very definitely for teacher preparing exam class in which writing is important and for people teaching technical and EAP writing skills. The course will infuse these areas with a new sense of creativity.
What are the key course contents?
  Topics include:
the letter/email as a major instrument of teacher-student, classroom communication
letters/emails between the students across the classroom
letters and emails from students out to others beyond the classroom
list writing
poetry writing
writing under the influence of fine text
dialogue writing ( inner voice), Dialogue writing with an addressee outside oneself
brain-storming techniques preparatory to writing an expository composition
story writing across the language levels
drama activities leading into and out of writing
role-reversal and "doubling" as writing techniques
writing from physical experience and from observation of physical processes
NLP modelling of exactly how each person in the group inwardly experiences writing given texts
editing, Re-writing, Group writing
teacher role in error correction
the evaluation of writing.
