Book a private taxi (by telephone or fax) with one of the Canterbury taxi
companies below before you leave home:

Give the taxi company your flight number, departure city, airport of arrival,
time of arrival, airport terminal number and your accommodation address from
your confirmation letter. Give them your mobile number if you have it.

Please call the taxi company the day before you leave home to confirm your
booking – ask for the drivers’ mobile telephone number – you should call the
driver if you are delayed in the airport terminal.

Remember to bring enough money to pay the driver a tip, approximately £5 is
recommended but not obligatory. |

London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton).

If you are planning to travel in the U.K. before or after your course, we
recommend you book ahead. Fares are cheaper if booked in advance.
DEPARTURES
Pilgrims provides information about a ‘taxi share’ for your departure. This
gives you maximum convenience at minimal costs. You organise a taxi with other
course participants who are travelling to the same airport at the same time.
Please plan to arrange your departure on last Saturday not later than 10.30 am.
